Egypt at ad crossroads as users migrate online - Warc News - Warc
CAIRO: Increasing internet usage in Egypt could lead to a rise in regional online ad spend, search firms have suggested.
According to the nation's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the number of Egyptian web users grew from 300,000 in 1999 to 13.9 million in 2009.
Around 50 million people in the Middle East are thought to use the web.
